Handcrafted Acoustic Guitars
Acoustic 6-String Guitar
The steel-string acoustic guitar evolved from the traditional classical guitar. The steel strings, whether in 6-string or 12-string, offer a brighter and louder sound. Tomas Delgado, Candelas luthier, hand makes his Acoustic Steel-stringed guitars with Mahogany sides and back and either Cedar or Spruce tops.

Acoustic Steel String Mahogany
An acoustic guitar really means it is a non-electric guitar but in recent times it has come to differentiate itself with its steel strings. Classical guitars used nylon strings. Candelas Guitars handcrafts high quality acoustic guitars made from tone woods like spruce tops and mahogany, rosewood or maple sides and backs. Tomas Delgado varies his standard acoustic guitars at times with a 12-string version which place an additional string next to each traditional 6-string.
