BS3 Bajo Sextos
The BS3 Bajo Sexto is custom handcrafted to perfection made with a solid spruce top, solid Honduran mahogany sides and back, rosewood fretboard, unique inlays and custom handmade traditional bridge with nickel frets. The BS3 Bajo Sexto is a more traditional Bajo Sexto guitar that the Candelas company has been producing for more than 40 years.
Like all of Candelas Guitar's Bajo Sextos and Bajo Quintos, the nut and saddles are made of bone for the ultimate in pitch and tone. The BS3 Bajo Sexto model can also be custom made as a Bajo Quinto. Pickguards are also available with the BS3 Bajo Sexto / Quinto models. The BS3 Bajo Sexto is a 12-string guitar like the Standard Bajo Sexto. Bajo Sexto translates to "lower sixth" in English.

The BS3 Bajo Quinto is similar to the Bajo Sexto guitar but where the Bajo Sexto has 12-strings, the Bajo Quinto has 10-strings.

Our BS3 Bajo Quinto comes with a solid spruce top, pure Honduran mahogany sides and back, rosewood fingerboard, custom handmade bridge and nickel frets, as well as nut and saddle made of bone for better pitch. Since our instruments are all custom produced, we can also produce a BS3 Bajo Sexto to your specifications. Each traditional BS3 Sexto can be packaged with three pickguards.
