For over 70 years, Candelas Guitars has handcrafted the finest guitars in the world. The woods involved in creating these masterpieces are selected by Tomas Delgado, owner and luthier. For example, only the finest Mahogany, Maple, Cedar, Spruce and Rosewoods are used to handcraft the Classicals, Requinto Romanticos, Acoustics, and Bajo Sextos. The finest Tacote and Cedar are used in handcrafting Mariachi instruments such as the Vihuela, Guitarron and Guitarra de Golpe. In a romantic gesture to his wife, Tomas Delgado designed the Flamenco Alegria which is made of the finest Port Ortford Cedar. Add to this extensive repertoire the Requinto Jarocho, Jarana, Tresillo, and Ukulele, and it is clear that Candelas handcrafts an extensive line of brilliant sounding, high quality guitar instruments for professionals and amateurs alike to enjoy for a very long time.

You can choose from an existing line of guitar models or design your own guitar masterpiece where Tomas, in turn, will construct it with your desired look, sound, and feel.
