Classical Brazilian Rosewood Guitars

Tomas Delgado, Candelas’ guitar luthier, creates this version of his famed 6-string Classical Guitar in elegant hand made style. Brazilian Rosewood adorns the Classical body sides and back while either high grade Cedar or European Spruce tops complete it. In addition, Tomas adds a hand lacquered and buffed finish. Each Classical Guitar made with Brazilian Rosewood has an ebony fretboard, nut and saddle made of bone which secures the strings, and a Candelas trademarked rosette design. Candelas’ Classical guitars are also available in Mahogany, Indian Rosewood or Palo Escrito and each is can be custom handcrafted according to your specifications.

The Classical Brazilian Rosewood Guitar illustrated below is handcrafted with a cedar top, brazilian rosewood sides and back, an ebony fretboard and Gotoh tuners. It is a copy of the 1937 Hauser Classical Guitar.
