TOMAS DELGADO HAND-CRAFTED
CLASSICAL 6-STRING GUITAR
Tomas Delgado uses Indian rosewood to adorn the sides and back of his 6-string classical guitars. Each guitar in this class comes with either a high grade cedar top or European spruce top. In addition, all guitars receive a lacquer finish or are french polished. Fretboards are made of ebony with a nut and saddle made of bone to secure the strings. The sound hole sports a unique Candelas rosette design.
Other woods are available upon request and include rosewood (for the fretboard), Mahogany, Palo Escrito, and Brazilian Rosewood. German machine head tuners come standard or can be upgraded to hand made Rogers tuners for customized models.
Brazilian and Indian rosewoods are used by all established builders of past and present i.e. Herman Hauser, Jose Ramirez, Manuel Rodriguez, Daniel Friederich, etc.
