DESCRIPTION
This 1992 Benito Huipe is stunning to look at and equally rewarding to play. With a distinctive headstock, the guitar also stands out for its construction. She is built as a classical with a typical deep body. In the end, she was put together to produce a bit of a hybrid guitar. Her setup is like a flamenca. The action is balanced right in between where notes are clear and loud, but do not break up. The scale length is set at 664mm which adds a very rewarding character of tension for the player. The guitar is dynamically responsive but does not require intensive labor to produce it. With the nut at 55mm, players have a great amount freedom between strings. Tonally the guitar is warm, bright, and provides considerable sustain.
The back and sides are Brazilian rosewood which is extremely coveted by players firstly for their tonal qualities. With the back of this guitar, you also get a unique pattern in the grain that you will not easily forget.
