DESCRIPTION
The tonality of this 2016 Flamenco guitar by Tomas Delgado has opened up considerably. The simplicity in its design is quickly overtaken by its volume, warmth, and dynamics. The sound you hear is that of a very mature guitar but in reality was only built recently. The character of tension is very rewarding for both your left and right hand. The action is positioned ideally where you have maximum volume and clarity of notes. The basses are stronger than you expect and the trebles project clearly. For a guitarist looking for a wide dynamic range, this guitar is one you have to try. Sustain is present at expected landing sweet spots (5th, 7th, 9th position).
Players looking for less ornament and more tone will connect greatly with this guitar. The top is an eye clean master grade spruce top. The rosette is clean and simple. The headstock is reminiscent of a Santos Hernandez headstock. The greatest amount of flair is found in the gold colored turners, which only adds elegance to a guitar that is tonally majestic.
