Tomas Delgado, Candelas’ 3rd generation owner and luthier, hand makes Tresillos with solid Cedar or Mahogany sides and back. The tops of each Tresillo are made from Cedar or Spruce, sides and back Cedar, Mahogany or Indian Rosewood. Tomas Delgado also handcrafts Tresillos Especial and Tresillos with a Custom Cutaway. All Tresillos are packaged with a transparent, thin, and durable pickguard that will last 10 years, the longest durable pickguards available on the market today. Tomas' Tresillos are also available in Palo Escrito and Indian Rosewood as well as Custom and Especial models. And if a 9-string Tresillo suits you (instead of the traditional 6-string Tresillo), Tomas will gladly handcraft one for you. Tomas Delgado's Tresillo are handcrafted with Mahogany sides and back, a cedar top and a rosewood fretboard.
